Online Car Insurance Quote

In today's world consumers have a lot of options open to them when searching for a car insurance quote. Pretty much every company will provide you with a free quote to aid you in your comparison shopping. All professional companies should have a website and be able to provide you with this information quickly and painless online.

Geico, State Farm, Progressive, and Allstate are the most recognized of the major car insurance companies. Progressive will even provide you with their competitors quote, even is the competitors quotes are less. Pretty good strategy, there's got to be some kind of catch to help them swing some quotes in their favor.

While all of these companies will give you free online car insurance quotes, another company that I recommend here is Insurance.com. Here you can get an unbiased opinion and compare instant quotes from all of the top companies that I previously mentioned. They say that their customers save an average of $451 on auto insurance. Cheap Car Insurance

Cheap car insurance can still be found, but with the ever rising inflation and other costs, premiums are bound to always continue to slowly rise in price. Now when I say "cheap car insurance" what I really mean is "inexpensive" car insurance. The term cheap can be associated with poor quality and I wouldn't want myself or anybody else to sacrifice price for trashy, incomplete coverage.

As you probably already understand, there are many different factors that go into determining your auto insurance rate or premiums. First there's your sex, then your age, your driving history, the make, model, and year of your car, your zip code, and several others. While many of these factors may be out of your control, not all of them are.

You may be stuck living in a big city thus making your rates higher, but you still have had some choice over the type of vehicle that you own. You choose your driving habits, thus proving your safety are accident prone tendencies over time. Obviously if you drive a 2003 mini-van and have had no speeding tickets in the past three years, you are going to get better rates or cheap insurance than if you were trying to insure a 2007 Corvet and have had 1 or two speeding tickets in the past few years.

So, that's all pretty common sense stuff that most people already know. What many people don't know that may help them get cheaper car insurance are your insurance companies little hidden discounts that often don't get applied unless you do some question asking. One such discount is an occupational discount. Most of the big car insurance companies give these types of discounts for many occupations such as teachers, doctors, lawyers, and military personnel get extra discounts compared to the general public. Geico has been known for their military discounts.

Another thing that people don't realize is that insurance companies do look at your credit and credit score. An individual with a higher credit score is deemed more responsible and less of a liability and therefore enjoys paying less on car insurance. Improving and maintaining good credit can affect you in more ways that you realized! So, managing your money, credit, and finances responsibly can help you save even more money!

The list goes on, but you can read several more articles and tons more tips at my main website listed below. Just make sure when shopping for car insurance that you are comparing apples to apples. This will take a lot of question asking and note-taking, but to accurately compare the prices, you must do it.

Young Driver Auto Insurance

Getting good auto insurance coverage at a reasonable rate for young drivers can be quite a difficulty. There are several different factors that help contribute to the cost of the auto insurance premium for the young driver in your family, many of them being out of your control.

However, there are a few factors in your control that can help reduce the costs of car insurance for your young teenage driver. One important factor is the make, model, and year car that they will be driving. Obviously a newer, more expensive car is going to cost more to cover. Also, a sports car will be more than a family van.

Next thing that many car insurance companies look at will be your young driver's student status and GPA. Most of the major auto insurance companies will give discounts for full-time students and especially those who have very good grades or a strong GPA. Studies have shown that students that are committed to their studies often prose less of a risk than other students.

Once your teen or young driver gets going, then their driving history will be recorded. Any parking tickets, speeding tickets, or any kind of traffic infractions can possibly raise your auto insurance rates. Stress this to your young driver and get them to understand how much responsibility that they now have in their hands. (Make them get a job and help pay for it too!)

By doing a search online, you may be able to find companies that say they "specialize" in young driver auto insurance, but don't be so quick to believe the hype. While there may be a few places where you can get discounts, make sure to do your homework and compare rates among all the major companies as well. You may find out that you can get a cheaper rate by adding your teen or young driver to your policy rather than getting him or her their own policy from a different company.

Funny Car Insurance Quote

I was doing my normal routine today, replying to customer emails and checking out different news and information from various sources when I ran into this Youtube video I've posted below. This guy Luke had his monthly car insurance quote come in at $303 dollars per month, so he decided to mess with the sales representative on the other end of the line.

For those of you who'd like to get back at the insurance companies for having such high rates are policies, you've got to see this.

Some of you will find this hilarious while others without a good sense of humor may possibly find this video clip slightly offensive! So, this is your warning now...If you don't have a good sense of humor and you get offended easily, please do not watch this video.

Wow, what a smart a**! I commend the car insurance sales rep on the other end of the line for staying fairly professional while dealing with a tough customer! How many of us have to deal with people who are a pain and we want to loose our cool?

Tips to Save on Car Insurance

Today an article written by insurance rep Jordan Walt

Tips to Save on Car Insurance

by Jordan Walt

A.I.C. Insurance Agency Offers Tips to Help You Save on Auto Insurance
Milwaukie, OR 2/18/2005 – Purchasing the auto insurance that is right for you can be confusing, especially for first-time buyers. By learning the basics on how to get the most for your money, you can save on your auto insurance and feel confident you have adequate coverage. A.I.C. Insurance Agency and Travelers, a leading provider of auto and homeowners insurance, offer these tips to lead you in the right direction when you purchase your car insurance.

• Be a safe driver. Drivers with good driving records can save as much as 60 percent over drivers who cause accidents.
• Enroll in a driving class. Drivers who complete a state-approved defensive driving course, or drivers under the age of 21 who take a driver training course, could qualify for savings.
• Buy a car that includes safety features such as anti-lock brakes, alarms or other security features, airbags, and automatic seat belts.
• Choose a higher deductible (what you pay before your insurance policy kicks in), which can mean paying less for your policy.
• Eliminate unnecessary coverages. If you drive an older car with little cash value, consider eliminating “collision” or “comprehensive” coverage, which pays for damage to or theft of your car.
• Insure more than one car with the same company, and you may be eligible for savings. The same is true if you have more than one type of policy with the same insurance company.
• Look for low-mileage discounts if you car-pool or do not put a lot of miles on your car annually.
• Check for student discounts such as a good student credit for maintaining a B average, or if a driver in your household is living away at school and not driving as much.
• Buy a safer car that will cost less to repair and less to insure. Check crash-test reports, repair records and manufacturer recalls of any car you are considering. A consumer protection magazine can be very useful or check car sites on the Internet.

Insurance Leads Generation

Those who are in the insurance business are always looking for new leads or people whom they can sell their insurance policies to. Creating new contacts is constant work, but there are several different ways that you can generate new leads. With the Internet, today it is possible to locate and find dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of new leads daily.

Just one good way to collect insurance leads online is to create and give away a free report about whichever type of insurance that you sell. For example, if you sell car insurance, then create a free report in how people can save money on their auto insurance. You can basically do the same thing with any type of insurance. If you aren't good at writing, then you can find a report or guide that someone else has created and offers free reprint rights so you can give it away.

In exchange for the report, you just request the person's email address and basic contact information. Market your website online, on your business cards, and in your advertisements and you'll be attracting more leads than you ever had!

A great e-book that I recommend on this topic is called "Insurance in The Internet Age". This an other techniques or thoroughly discussed. If you are in doubt at all, do not worry. The e-book comes with a 60 Day money back guarantee so if you're not happy, just get your money back. The book is sold through ClickBank and they are very tough about making sure that publishers stick by their refund policy.

You can check out this book at the website: Insurance Leads Generation. If you are already in or even just thinking about getting into the insurance business, this book is a must read.
